Create paywall

Learn how to create paywalls to effectively monetize your app
 
To create a new paywall in dashboard:
  • Login into your account, for that click the Sign in button on the right-top corner.
  • Click the Paywalls tab in left menu. The paywall list page in dashboard provides an overview of all the paywalls that have been set up in your account along with their metrics.

  • Click the New Paywall button.

  • In the opened Paywalls / New Paywall page, enter the Paywall name: The name that identifies the paywall throughout Dashboard.
  • Enter product name on checkout page: This is the name that will be displayed to the client on the Stripe checkout page.
  • Then enter paywall title. For example: "Get a plan to continue using our service".
  • Select countries where paywall will be displayed.
  • Select display conditions: "Immediately" or "Trigger." If you choose "Immediately," the paywall will be shown right after initialization. For the "Trigger" option, follow

  • Specify pricing. Add a new price by clicking the Add Plan button. Enter plan price and choose plan interval: Week, Month, Year or Lifetime for one-time payment. To remove a price, click the red minus button. The prices you create will be sorted by amount in the paywall.
  • Enter support email. This email is for clients of your application to use if they encounter payment issues or wish, for example, to cancel their subscription.
  • Optional Select trial. If you choose "Trial Time," the user won't see the paywall until the specified number of hours has passed since the first initialization. If you choose "Trial for Number" and enter, for example, 5, the paywall won't be shown for the first four times.
  • Optional Enter brand color in HEX format.
  • Optional Choose if user can close the paywall (useful when display conditions: Trigger selected).
  • Optional Enable the plan label to attract client's attention for specified plan. Enter the label text, for example, "BEST DEAL" or "MOST POPULAR", then choose the plan where you want to display this label.
  • Click the "Create" button when finish.

  • You will then be prompted to enter Stripe test keys. Follow the instructions in the popup that appears. After entering the keys, click "Save & Go Test". The keys will be verified, and if they are valid, a paywall will be created.

Now the paywall is created. Click the Install button on the right-top corner, choose an product type, Chrome extension or SPA / Website and follow the opened instructions.
